Precision care for complex bodies.
Specialized manual therapy grounded in physiology, neuroscience, and an integrated understanding of the whole person.
Understand more deeply. Intervene more intelligently. Allow the body to do more of what it already knows how to do.
Specificity over force. Physiology over convention. Whole-person care.

Specialized care, thoughtfully integrated.
Complex bodies rarely fit neatly into a single modality. Each session draws selectively from specialized approaches according to the individual in front of me.
Oncology & Medically Complex Care
Careful, adaptable manual therapy for people navigating cancer treatment, survivorship, surgery, medical complexity, and changing physiological needs.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Specialized lymphatic care for swelling, post-surgical recovery, oncology-related considerations, altered drainage patterns, and support of lymphatic function.
Head, Neck & Cranial Care
Detailed work integrating craniosacral therapy, neuromuscular approaches, fascia, intraoral techniques, lymphatics, and nervous-system regulation.
Pain, Restriction & Recovery
Precision treatment drawing from neuromuscular therapy, myofascial work, scar mobilization, visceral approaches, movement, and regulation rather than simply applying greater pressure.
Pediatric Care
Gentle, developmentally appropriate care for infants, children, and adolescents, informed by pediatric anatomy and physiology, craniosacral and fascial approaches, and nervous-system regulation.
Nervous-System Regulation
Subtle manual and somatic approaches designed to reduce unnecessary protective activation and support more adaptive movement, perception, and function.
A different kind of manual therapy.
More pressure is not necessarily more therapeutic.
The body is not an inert collection of tissues waiting to be mechanically corrected. It is a living, sensing, adaptive system integrating information across the nervous, musculoskeletal, fascial, circulatory, lymphatic, immune, endocrine, social, spiritual and psychological dimensions of experience.
Effective treatment depends not simply upon how much we do, but upon what we do, where, when, why, and how the body responds.
Integral Somatics favors specificity over force, physiology over convention, and responsiveness over routine.
Sometimes the most effective intervention is remarkably subtle.

Meet Collin Sedlacek
Science, clinical practice, and the art of integration.
Collin Sedlacek, LMT, CCST, MLDC is a Seattle-based manual therapist, educator, curriculum developer, and healthcare consultant whose work bridges biological science with specialized hands-on care.
Before entering clinical practice, Collin worked in research and education, with academic training spanning physiology, neuroscience, philosophy, and education. That background continues to shape an approach rooted in curiosity, critical thinking, careful observation, and respect for the complexity of living systems.
His advanced training includes craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular, myofascial and structural approaches, oncology-informed care, pediatric and perinatal care, visceral and scar work, intraoral treatment, and the world of somatics and trauma-informed, nervous-system-centered practice.
Experience matters. So does understanding.
Good manual therapy requires skilled hands. Exceptional care also requires knowing when not to use them.
Care is informed by anatomy, physiology, pathology, oncology, lymphatic function, nervous-system regulation, development, and the biological responses that make different interventions appropriate—or inappropriate—for different people.
The goal is not to impose change upon the body, but to create useful conditions for change to emerge.

What clients and colleagues notice
Meghan — Client
“I’ve been impressed with the amount of knowledge, training, and expertise that Collin has. After one session, it was like a fog lifted and I could function again. I can’t recommend Collin more highly.”
Lauren Christman, LMT, CCST, CBSI/ATSI — Practitioner & Educator
“What I love about Collin’s work is the depth and steadiness of his listening. His touch is precise and gentle, not rushed or over-riding the body’s expression. This, alongside his technical skills, allows my body to relax deeply on the table and open up to new changes.”
Client experience · Professional perspective · Complex-care confidence
Clinical practice informed by teaching. Teaching informed by clinical practice.
Integral Somatics exists at the intersection of practice, science, education, and inquiry.
The work takes different forms, but the underlying questions remain closely related: How do we understand the body more accurately? How do we translate that understanding into better care? And how can greater awareness change not only what we do, but how we participate in the systems around us?
Clinical Practice
Precision care for complex bodies.
Individualized manual therapy integrating physiology, nervous-system regulation, lymphatic science, somatics, and advanced clinical approaches.
Professional Education
From technique toward clinical reasoning.
Continuing education, hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development for practitioners who want to understand more deeply and adapt more intelligently.
Consulting
Better clinical questions. Better systems of care.
Case consultation, practitioner support, interdisciplinary collaboration, curriculum development, and program design for practitioners, clinics, and healthcare organizations.
Writing & Resources
A living body of inquiry.
Writing and resources at the intersections of physiology, manual therapy, somatics, self-care, contemplative practice, science, and the larger questions of being human.
Begin where you are.
Whether you are seeking care, developing your clinical practice, building a program, or following an interesting question, there is more than one way into the work.
